 Welcome to the Patient Information Center!
This section of our site is specifically for our patients. We understand that the internet is a massive mainstream source for medical information, and that many patients use the web to better understand conditions, treatment, and options. While there are many very good sources of medical information on the internet, much like anything else there is also an abundance of information on the internet that can be misleading, inaccurate, not applicable, or even fraudulent. Even accurate information can be misleading when not taken in the proper context.
Our trained physicians combine their education and experience with a continual process of reviewing up-to-date industry information and research in order to provide patients with quality diagnostic care. While good information can be found on the web, it is not a substitute for personal medical care. We provide this information and any links as a supplement to regular medical care and not as a substitute.
It is not always evident which information can be trusted, so we are continually updating this section of our site to ensure that our patients can have an online resource that has been reviewed by the same physicians that are providing their care.
