We are now performing 3D/4D ultrasounds in our office! This service is available to all or our patients receiving ultrasounds.
3D ultrasound technology is similar to traditional ultrasounds, but provides clearer and more defined images. Unlike traditional ultrasounds, the waves are reflected back and captured, then assembled to construct a 3-dimensional image of the subject. Not only does this improve accuracy of diagnosis, but can give you a "sneak peek" at your new addition!
4D ultrasounds are then produced by assembling the 3D images and constructing a "3D Movie" of the subject, virtually capturing and constructing the dimensions.
 
This is the latest technology available for ultrasound scanning. The improved imaging capabilities along with continually advancing computing technology provides physicians with the most sophisticated tools for evaluating patients in all areas of women's healthcare.
